The CHC online store was formerly 'Grandma Loves the Dog'
We are pleased to announce that Grandma Loves The Dog (previously run as a
separate concern by Rob Ellis and Catherine O'Driscoll of Canine Health Concern)
is now the online store for Canine Health Concern (CHC), so that funds raised can go directly to CHC and reduce the time, energy and costs of running it separately.
We hope you will find the improved site a greater resource.
Products
The products on the CHC online store are the same as those supplied by Grandma Loves The Dog - the best quality for the best results. A review of products for sale has also been made and therefore a few lines or individual products are no longer available.
Discounts for all CHC subscribers
Previously under Grandma Loves The Dog the subscriber discount prices were only available to those who subscribed to the 'Grandma' monthly printed newsletter.
We are delighted that under the CHC online store, the subscriber discount prices are now available to all CHC subscribers, whether that be for the monthly colour printed newsletter (formerly 'Grandma') or for all members subscriptions.
So if you are new to the store and already subscribe to CHC,
then the subscriber discount prices are for you!!
This applies to ALL members - we are pleased that this also includes all non-UK members.
Non-Subscribers
To get the best prices why not become a member of CHC (annual cost £16 - click here to join), or subscribe to the monthly colour printed newsletter (annual cost £25, with free gifts and vouchers - click here to subscribe). You can easily recoup your subscription costs in the savings you get by buying at the subscriber discount rates!!
Reward Points
Reward points (click here for details) are awarded on all purchases from the store whether you subscribe or not. All points under 'Grandma' will be carried forward for your use on the CHC online store. Points will also now be awarded to all non-UK customers.
Please note that reward points are not awarded for CHC membership subscriptions,
or for donations. This would obviously be contrary to the purpose of supporting
CHC and its aims. Reward points simply apply to purchases from the store.
Pricing
As with all products for sale, prices inevitably change due to the increase in postage
or product costs etc. Grandma Loves The Dog's prices remained unchanged from its beginning so this was an ideal time to review prices. Some prices have had to be increased BUT
we are pleased to say that with the new shipping costs for items that are stocked by CHC some products will work out cheaper than before. We are also pleased to say that subscriber discounts have been added on all products so for subscribers we have also been able to reduce some items to below the previous prices with 'Grandma'.
We hope the changes we have made will mean that there are savings to be made!!
Orders
All sales and processing of orders will be made in the same way as with 'Grandma', except that the way shipping charges are made has changed. All products that are delivered direct from our suppliers are still inclusive of shipping as before, but prices for products that are held in stock are shown as 'plus shipping'. For full details see shipping.
We hope that this will in fact reduce the cost of orders.

This has now been incorporated into this single online store and prices/shipping details
are shown alongside the UK prices. All prices are in UK Pounds Sterling.
